In particular, the present research seeks to substantiate the topic of learning assisted by artificial intelligence tools in college students, the main objective of this research was to evaluate the benefits of artificial intelligence tools in the academic training of university students. The scope of the research focuses on a representative sample of members of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE in Santo Domingo, using artificial intelligence tools as a complement to their training. To achieve these objectives, a longitudinal study was carried out covering a period of one academic semester. Data were collected through a survey, performance tests and analysis of tool usage records. Statistical analysis and qualitative techniques were used to process the data. The results showed significant improvements in their academic performance compared to their experience in other semesters. These tools facilitate the personalization of learning, adapting to the individual needs of the students, which resulted in greater engagement with the content and greater retention of information. In addition, it was observed that artificial intelligence tools promoted collaboration and knowledge sharing among students. The main findings of this research indicate that their incorporation in higher education can be highly beneficial. This research underscores the importance of considering the integration of artificial intelligence as a valuable resource for higher education in the digital age.
