Daysi Lorena Narváez-Cantos

Daysi Lorena Narváez-Cantos is a professor and researcher at the University of Cuenca, Ecuador. She holds degrees in International Studies, Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages, Neuropsychology and Education, and Population and Development Sciences. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education at the National University of Education (UNAE), Ecuador.

Her professional experience encompasses English language teaching, educational assessment, academic translation, and educational research. Throughout her career, she has served in various academic roles at the University of Cuenca, including EFL, FLE and ESP professor, language assessment specialist, academic committee member, coordinator of specialized language services, and researcher. Her research interests include socio-emotional competencies in education, language education, and EFL teacher development.
